                        APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE DIRECTOR

In respect of the appointment of Jonathan Howell as Finance Director, which he
is expected to take up in February 2008 , under paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) of the
UKLA Listing Rules Mr Howell has disclosed that he is currently a director of
the London Stock Exchange Group plc and EMAP plc. He was also a director of
London Stock Exchange plc until 12 May, 2006. There are no other details
requiring disclosure under 9.6.11 to 15 under the UKLA Listing Rules.
