Clarkson PLC 22 December 2004 CLARKSON PLC ('Clarksons') REBRANDING IN AUSTRALASIA/SOUTH AFRICA With effect from 1 January 2005, Clarkson's subsidiaries in Australia, New Zealand and 1 February South Africa will change their names from Austral Chartering (Pty) Limited, Beacon Chartering & Shipping Limited and Afromar (Pty) Limited to Clarkson Australia (Pty) Limited, Clarkson New Zealand Limited and Clarkson South Africa Limited, respectively. The changes of name are part of the ongoing globalisation strategy of the group through alignment of the Clarkson brand name.
