This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4.
On 2 July 2007, the following awards over ordinary shares in the Company were
made under the Clarkson Long Term Incentive Plan (the 'Plan') to Persons
Discharging Managerial Responsibility ('PDMRs') of the Company:

No consideration was paid for the grant of the award which is structured as an
award of free shares.
The vesting of an award is subject to continued employment of the PDMR and the
satisfaction of performance conditions set by the Remuneration Committee of the
Company. The award will normally vest on the later of the third anniversary of
grant and the fulfilment of the performance conditions.
The Company was informed of the above transactions on 2 July 2007.
