MARTIN CLARK JOINS CLARKSON BOARD
Clarksons, the leading shipbroking and shipping services provider, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Martin Clark as a non-executive director of the
Company with effect from 29 January 2002. Mr Clark, 56, is currently a
non-executive director of Senior plc and BPB plc and was formerly Group Finance
Director of Caradon plc, and prior to that Finance Director at Northern Foods
plc and Associated British Foods plc.
Michael Beckett, Clarksons Chairman, commented, 'We are delighted that Martin
has agreed to join the Clarksons Board. He brings with him a wealth of
experience and I am sure that he will make a valuable contribution to the future
development of Clarksons.'
