WANdisco Expands Management Team To Facilitate Growth

Key executive appointments will complement team, enhance capabilities and strengthen strategic resources

San Ramon, CAWANdisco (LSE: WAND), a leading provider of enterprise high availability software for Big Data and software development, today announced a number of key appointments to the company's management team. Among these appointments, James Creasy has been named Director of Product Management, Douglas Ribback has been appointed to Director of Demand Generation and Simon Martin to Controller.

Based in the company's San Ramon office, James Creasy will oversee product development and explore emerging technologies to identify new approaches to product offerings, competitive positioning and business architectures for the software development industry. James joins WANdisco from Perforce Software, a privately held enterprise version management company, where he was Director of Product Technology. In that position, he built and led a highly technical group that explored the technological landscape outside Perforce to develop strategic direction, identify new product opportunities, conduct competitive research, adopt emerging technologies and produce effective external messaging. James has also held roles at corporations including GNS Software and Mozart Systems Corporation throughout his 20 years' experience in computer software and engineering.

As Director of Demand Generation, Douglas will develop and implement demand strategies that will help WANdisco expand its reach into the enterprise and developer markets. He joins from ThoughtWorks, a company wholly devoted to the art and science of custom software, where he was Director of Marketing. Prior to ThoughtWorks, he was Senior Director of Global Demand Generation at SugarCRM, where he was responsible for developing web-based, e-commerce directed marketing programs to support all stages of the customer life cycle targeting the SMB market. Combined with Douglas' previous positions at organizations like CollabNet, SourceForge and Rainmaker Systems, he has nearly 20 years' experience with global strategic capabilities involving B2B enterprise software as well as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) product marketing.

Simon Martin, WANdisco's newly appointed Controller will assist the CFO in providing financial oversight for the company. Simon will oversee all areas of Finance from accounting to forecasting to analysis.  An experienced auditor, he previously spent seven years with KPMG, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services, where he quickly received recognition for achieving Exceptional Performance grading as Audit and Assurance Manager. Simon brings experience from managing a portfolio of over 35 audit clients, ranging from small owner managed businesses to large multinational companies.

Welcoming the appointments, David Richards, WANdisco Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said:

"With today's announcement I am confident we are putting into place a team that is not only committed to delivering WANdisco's current mission but also committed to our future in this industry. James, Douglas and Simon could not be joining our company at a more crucial time as we begin to extend our reach and expand our enterprise software portfolio. We look forward to the experience, focus, structure and vision these three professionals will bring to the company, positioning WANdisco for long-term success, while growing our product base of industry-leading solutions for the enterprise."
