As at 31 May 2007, the issued share capital of Cineworld Group plc (or the '
Company') consisted of 141,721,509 ordinary shares of 1 pence, each with voting
rights. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Cineworld Group plc are
141,721,509.

The above figure (141,721,509) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the
Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
