                      NOTIFICATION OF PRELIMINARY RESULTS



Churchill China plc will be announcing its Preliminary Results for the twelve
months ended 31 December 2003 on Monday, 22 March 2004.


Meetings:


An analyst meeting will be held at 10:00 am on the day and a press meeting will
follow at 11:30 pm.  A lunchtime meeting for Private Client Brokers will be held
at 12:45 pm. All three meetings will be held at Buchanan Communications, 107
Cheapside, EC2.
