the Company has today received notice that, on 5 September 2002,  LandFinance
Limited disposed of 5,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each.  LandFinance Limited
has informed the Company that it no longer has a notifiable interest in the
issued ordinary share capital of Churchill China plc.
