Directors' Shareholdings

Churchill China plc was today notified that Mr Stephen Roper, a Director of the
Company, sold 40,000 10p ordinary shares (representing approximately 0.4% of the
issued share capital of the Company) on 5 January 2006 at a price of 182 pence
per share.



Following the transaction, Mr Roper continues to hold 1,163,045 10p ordinary
shares representing approximately 10.7% of the issued ordinary share capital.
