BOARD APPOINTMENT



Churchill China is pleased to announce the appointment of Iain Trevenon Hicks,
aged 37, as a Director of the Company on 28 September 2006. Iain has been
employed by Churchill since 1992 and has been a member of the board of
Churchill's main operating subsidiary, Churchill China (UK) Limited, since 2001.
  Iain has responsibility for Sourcing and Information Technology within the
Group.



There are no further disclosures required by Schedule 2, (g) (iii) to (viii) of
Aim rules.
