DIRECTOR'S NOTIFIABLE INTERESTS

In accordance with section 324 of the Companies Act 1985, as amended, Mr A D
Roper has notified the Company that he has today purchased 100,000 shares in
the Company, representing 0.94 per cent of the issued share capital, at a
price of 160p per share.

Following this transaction Mr A D Roper has a beneficial interest in 637,430
shares, being 5.99 per cent of the issued share capital, and a non-beneficial
interest in 2,140,000 shares, being 20.09 per cent. of the issued share
capital.
