Additional listing

Churchill China plc has applied for 10,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each to
be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
The new ordinary shares have been allotted as a result of the exercise of
options held under the Company's share option schemes.

It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the new
ordinary shares will commence on 8 May 2002.
