Merian Chrysalis Investment Company Limited (the "Company")

Further to the announcement by the Company on 16 April 2019 in relation to the conditional issue of 90,909,091 ordinary shares of no par value each in the capital of the Company (the "Placing Shares") pursuant to a placing (the "Placing") conducted under the Company's placing programme established by the prospectus published by the Company on 11 October 2018 (the "Prospectus"), the Company wishes to announce in accordance with DTR 3.1 and Article 19 of The Market Abuse Regulation the following dealings by persons discharging managerial responsibility who participated in the Placing.
