Christie Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Chambers as a
Non-executive Director of the company.  He has previously been Head of Banking
at Robert Fleming and a Director of Save and Prosper Group Ltd.  He brings a
wealth of experience in the financial sector which is of particular relevance to
the Group's mortgage and insurance broking businesses.


Yves Doukhan today steps down as a Non-executive Director to pursue other
interests.  He joined the Group with the acquisition of Timeless in France in
March 2000.
