                              Director / PDMR Shareholding

The Company was notified today that Mr Chris Day, a Director of Christie Group
plc, sold the following shares in the Company:

•         5 April 2007 - 27,000 shares at 253.0p per share
•         11 April 2007 - 27,000 shares at 253.5p per share

and acquired the following shares in the Company:

•         11 April 2007 - 106,720 shares at 253.5p per share


Following these transactions Mr Day's holding has increased to 522,189 ordinary
shares in Christie Group plc, representing approximately 2.07 per cent of the
total voting rights of the Company.
