Christie + Co opens Dublin office

Christie + Co, the transactional and professional services division of Christie Group, is strengthening its presence in Ireland this month through the establishment of an office in Dublin.  This will be its 13th international office.

Working in conjunction with Christie + Co's international office network, the Dublin office will focus on serving the company's diverse client base, as well as building new relationships that will benefit from Christie + Co's operational, transactional and valuation advice.

The office will be headed by Maureen Doyle.  Maureen has been with Christie + Co for over five years, working with the corporate hotels team in London. Her areas of specialisation include operational and strategic reviews, valuations, operator searches, feasibility and market studies for leading investors, funding bodies, owners, operators and developers.

Maureen has been involved in some of the most high-profile projects across Ireland and the UK, which, when combined with her local market knowledge, will allow her to establish an unparalleled local service offering.

Prior to joining Christie + Co, Maureen worked in the Corporate Finance and Hotel Consultancy division of a leading Irish accountancy firm. Originally from Dublin, she has extensive industry experience having worked in the sector both in Ireland and internationally.  She holds a BSc in Hospitality Management and an MBS (Hons) in Travel and Tourism Management from the Michael Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin.

Commenting on the office opening, David Rugg, Chief Executive of Christie Group, said:

"This exciting expansion is very much driven by our commitment to provide best-in-class service to our Irish client base and those clients with exposure to the Irish market. Our expanding international office network is increasingly attractive to cross border investors seeking strategic investment opportunities.

"Our industry specialists' ability to provide independent, implementable advice is all the more compelling given that we are not conflicted by legacy issues founded in the market bubble and the more recent economic readjustment."
