Chemring Group PLC (the "Company") - Transaction in Own Shares

On 24 January 2012, a total of 334,363 ordinary shares of 1p each were issued from Treasury into the Chemring Group Performance Share Plan 2006 in satisfaction of the vesting of conditional awards made on 21 January 2009.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds a total of 2,008,782 ordinary shares as treasury shares and has a total of 193,476,042 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held in Treasury).
