The Company has today been informed that the following transaction has taken
place on behalf of Mr David Harris, a Director of the Company:

 Purchase of 5,802 Ordinary 25p shares on 1 June 2000 at 85p per share as part
of Mr Harris' self invested personal pension plan portfolio.

As a result of this transaction, Mr Harris is interested in 5,802 Ordinary 25p
shares, representing 0.04% of the issued class of capital.
