Elektron has been informed that on 27 June 2003, John Kinder purchased a further
200,000 ordinary shares in the Company. As a result of this purchase, Mr
Kinder's total beneficial holding is now 2,706,283 ordinary shares in the
Company, representing 5.2% of its issued share capital.
