Correction re: Issue of Scrip Dividend Shares

The following amendment has been made to the Issue of Scrip Dividend Shares announcement released on 13 August 2012 at 08.04am under RNS No 8551J.

The total number of shares with voting rights should be 119,526,265 and not 119,526,626 as previously stated.  All other details remain unchanged.  The full amended text is shown below.

Elektron announces that, in aggregate, 229,278 ordinary shares will be issued to those holders in the Company who have elected to receive new shares in lieu of cash in respect of the final dividend for the year ended 31 January 2012.

The resolution to declare the final dividend of 0.56p per ordinary share was passed at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 28 June 2012.  229,278 ordinary shares will be issued increasing the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights to 119,526,265.  There are no Ordinary Shares held in treasury.  The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Application has been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange and the new shares are expected to be admitted to trading on 17 August 2012.
