Elektron's Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 January 2007 (the
'Accounts') has been posted to shareholders and is available on the Company's
website, www.elektronplc.com.


A copy of the Annual Report and Accounts can also be obtained by sending a
request to the Company at Melville Court, Spilsby Road, Romford, Essex RM3 8SB.


The Company also announces that the record date for the proposed final dividend
of 0.4p per Ordinary Share will be the close of business on 10 August 2007. The
final dividend will be paid on 7 September 2007.
