This announcement is made in replacement of RNS 5454U released at 17.48 on 18 January 2017 making a correction to the number of shares held by Labro Investments Limited following the purchases described in that announcement.  The announcement stated that Labro's resulting holding was 116,227,463; this should have read 116,322,165.  A full revised announcement is below.

Chaarat (AIM - CGH), the AIM quoted exploration and development company with assets in the Kyrgyz Republic, was informed on 17th January that as of that day Labro Investments Limited ("Labro") held 116,322,165 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each, representing 33% of the issued share capital of the Company, following the purchase on 17th January of 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.925 pence per share, a second purchase on that day of 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.888875 pence per share and a third purchase of 94,702 shares at a price of 9.5 pence per share.

 

Martin Andersson (the Chairman of Chaarat) is indirectly beneficially interested in the majority of the shares in Labro.

 

In accordance with the announcement dated 27 September 2016, a further 9,155,403 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each may be acquired by the concert party within a period of six months from 1 October 2016 without triggering a requirement to make a mandatory offer under the Articles of Association of the Company.
