Chaarat (AIM-CGH), the gold exploration and development company operating in the Kyrgyz Republic, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a mining permit for its Tulkubash licence area. In March 2011 the Company raised the funds required for the construction of the Tulkubash Project, which forms part of the Chaarat Project.

The permitting process is described in the Tulkubash project update announced on 7 December 2011 (http://www.chaarat.com/files/20111207_Tulkubash_project_update_FINAL.pdf).

As reported on 16 April 2012, negotiations with the Kyrgyz Government about a long term agreement continue and the directors remain confident of a positive outcome.

About Chaarat Gold

Chaarat Gold is an exploration and development company operating in the Kyrgyz Republic. The Company's main activity is the development of the Chaarat Gold Project situated within the Middle Tien Shan Mountains, which form part of the Tien Shan gold belt. A JORC compliant mineral resource of 5.590Moz at a grade of 4.08g/t gold has been delineated at the Chaarat Gold Project.
