"Outstanding Catalyst Business Impact" Award

at Digital Transformation World 2018

Cerillion, the billing, charging and customer relationship management ("CRM") software solutions provider, is very pleased to announce that it was part of the winning team that secured the "Outstanding Catalyst Business Impact" Award at TM Forum's 2018 Catalyst Awards at Digital Transformation World 2018 in Nice, France. TM Forum is the telecommunication industry's association for service providers and their suppliers. Its twice yearly global Catalyst Awards seek to recognise those Catalyst teams which have demonstrated outstanding work in developing solutions to the challenges that the industry is facing. Over 100 member companies and hundreds of individuals participated in the 2018 Catalyst projects.

Cerillion's Catalyst team was championed by Tier 1 telecommunications companies, NTT Group and Orange, and, alongside Cerillion, the team comprised Cloudstreet, Nokia and Sigma Systems. Its award-winning project was titled, "Proving the Business Model for Sponsored Network Slices: Mobile Gaming". The project used Cerillion's cloud billing application, Skyline, to solve the billing and settlement challenges of the sponsored data business model.

Catalyst projects are collaborations between TM Forum members, which include some of the world's largest telcos, to create innovative, commercially viable proof-of-concept solutions for new digital services and business models. The seven winning programs in the 2018 Awards were selected from 24 projects, all of which were showcased at this year's Digital Transformation World.

The winners of the 2018 Catalyst Awards were judged by TM Forum's Collaboration Sub-Committee, which oversees the effective creation and adoption of pragmatic best practices and standards, delivering value to the membership by meeting industry needs.

Louis Hall, CEO of Cerillion, commented:

"We are delighted to have worked with our partners, Nokia and Sigma Systems, on this exciting Catalyst project, which won the prestigious 'Outstanding Catalyst Business Impact' Award at Digital Transformation World. The solution proved how Communications Services Providers can quickly on-board new enterprise customers and create new revenue streams based on sponsored network slices.

"The project was also an opportunity for showcasing the flexibility of our cloud billing solution, Cerillion Skyline, in helping Communications Services Providers to quickly launch and monetise new services using TM Forum OpenAPIs to achieve multi-vendor integration."

Andy Tiller, EVP Collaboration and Innovation, TM Forum:

"The Catalyst projects showcased at Digital Transformation World 2018 were incredibly innovative and demonstrated real solutions to industry challenges. Catalysts showcase the power of collaboration enabled by TM Forum, and bring together a wide range of companies, industries and ecosystems. Our sincere congratulations to the winners and to all those who participated for their outstanding work."
