                            Significant shareholding

The Company was notified on 22 May 2007 that Deutsche Bank AG and its subsidiary
companies hold 4,004,627 ordinary shares in Celtic Resources which represents 
7.17 per cent. of its total issued ordinary share capital.

Deutsche Bank AG London Branch now holds 1,484,393 shares and 2,520,234 shares
are held by other Deutsche Bank group companies as part of their customer
portfolios, as follows:
