                            Significant shareholding

The Company was notified on 9th December 2005 that Deutsche Bank AG and its 
subsidiary companies now hold 5,308,919 ordinary shares in Celtic Resources 
which represents 11.85 per cent. of its total issued ordinary share capital.

Deutsche Bank AG London Branch holds 416,000 shares and 4,892,919 shares are now
held by other Deutsche Bank group companies in customer portfolio, as follows:
