Appointment of Dr Brian Count as Executive Chairman

The Board of Directors of Ceres Power today announces that Dr Peter Bance has resigned as Chief Executive Officer of the Company with immediate effect.

The Board would like to thank Peter for all his efforts and commitment in bringing the business through its formative stages. His strategic vision and commercial insights have been important catalysts in the Company's development.

The Board is searching for a new Chief Executive with a proven track record of commercialisation of innovative technology products and a focus on operational delivery. Until a new Chief Executive is appointed, Dr Brian Count will act as Executive Chairman.

As stated in the announcement released on 1 June 2011, the Company is making good progress towards resolving the technical issues identified during the field trials and expects to update the market on the progress in addressing these issues during the summer.
