Dinkie Heel plc announced on 7th June 2002 that the continuing re-organisation
of the Dinkie-Phillips business will have significant exceptional costs
associated with it during this year but that completion of the sale of the
Manchester premises is expected to be achieved at a value considerably in excess
of its book value.

The company is now pleased to announce the completion of the sale of the
Manchester premises at a price that, after all expenses, will realise a book
profit for the company in excess of £500,000.
