Dinkie Heel announces that it was informed on 9 February 2001 that on that
date, 87,500 ordinary 5p shares in the Company, representing approximately
0.6% of the issued share capital, were transferred to Mrs C E Stowey from the
estate of her late father. Mrs C E Stowey is married to Mr A J Stowey,
Marketing Director, who is now deemed to be beneficially interested in
1,278,689 ordinary 5p shares in the Company, representing approximately 8.65%
of the issued share capital.
