Non-executive Directorship
Centrica today announced that Roy Gardner, Chief Executive, has been appointed
as a non-executive director of Manchester United plc with effect from
1 January 2000. In addition to his role as Chief Executive of Centrica plc,
Mr Gardner is also a non-executive director of Laporte plc and President of
the Carers National Association.
