                           Transaction in Own Shares


Centaur Media plc announces that on 13 March 2008 it purchased 200,000 ordinary
shares of 10p each in the Company at a price of 84 pence per share. These shares
will be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase, the Company holds 7,050,000 of its ordinary shares in
Treasury and has a total of 143,157,960 ordinary shares (excluding shares held
in Treasury) in issue.
