Application for Block Listing

Centaur Holdings plc (the 'Company')

The Company announces that it has made application to the London Stock Exchange
and the UK Listing Authority for a block listing of 2,108,887 ordinary shares of
10p each to be admitted to trading and to the Official List in connection with
the Centaur Holdings plc Rollover Share Option Plan 2004.

The admission of the above shares is expected to be effective on 1 April 2005.

The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the company.
