The Company has received notification from Henderson Global Investors Limited
('Henderson') that Henderson is now interested in a total of 25,203,509 ordinary
shares in Centamin. This represents 5.02% of Centamin's issued ordinary share
capital.

In addition, the Company has been notified that FMR Corp. now holds 50,191,037
ordinary shares in the Company, representing 9.99% of Centamin's issued ordinary
share capital. FMR Corp.'s holding is split as follows:
