   MARKET CAPITALISATION OF £338 MILLION ON ADMISSION
                            
   FLOTATION ON THE OFFICIAL LIST OF THE LONDON STOCK
                        EXCHANGE

Claims Direct, one of the UK market leaders in providing
a  service  to individuals who have suffered a  personal
injury  and  who wish to recover damages  from  a  third
party,  is  pleased  to  announce  the  details  of  its
flotation  on  the  Official List of  the  London  Stock
Exchange.

The Company is raising £50 million (£48.0 million net of
expenses)  of  new  money  by  way  of  a  placing  with
institutional  and  other  investors.   A   placing   of
existing  shares is also being carried out  for  certain
selling shareholders.

The  net proceeds of the Placing will enable the Company
to  fund its current operations more efficiently;  allow
expansion  into complementary business areas; and  allow
the  Company  to  take  advantage of  opportunities  for
acquisitions  and  investments  which  the  Company  has
previously been unable to contemplate.

Investec Henderson Crosthwaite, a division of Investec
Bank (UK) Limited, is  Sponsor, Financial Adviser and
Stockbroker to the Placing.  The Placing has been
underwritten by Investec.

Key Points

*  Placing of 27.8 million New Ordinary Shares at 180p
   per share for the Company

*  Placing of 32.1 million Sale Shares at 180p for the
   Selling Shareholders

*  Market capitalisation on Admission including new
   money of £338 million at the Placing Price
