Milestone Group PLC 21 October 2004 For Immediate Release 21 October 2004 MILESTONE GROUP PLC RAJAR Wave 3 2004 Audience Figures Milestone Group PLC ('Milestone' or 'the Group'), the AIM listed media group with interests in five commercial radio stations alongside local publishing and local television, has welcomed today's release of new official radio listening figures from Radio Joint Audience Research Limited ('RAJAR'). Overall, the results show the Group's RAJAR headline weekly adult audience reach at 21%, up from 8% twelve months ago, following the disposal of the Group's two South East London radio licences and the inclusion of Rugby FM. In Oxford, where Milestone wholly-owns the local commercial radio station, Passion 107.9, alongside the wholly-owned Courier Group publishing business and the SIX TV local television channel, the radio station has increased its RAJAR headline weekly adult audience reach from 5% to 11% year-on-year. In North Hampshire, where Milestone has a controlling interest in the local commercial radio station, Kestrel FM, which it operates alongside the wholly-owned weekly newspaper, the Basingstoke Observer, RAJAR headline weekly adult audience reach for the radio station has increased from 24% to 26% year-on-year.
