Milestone Group PLC: Update on Milestone's OnGu...

Milestone, the AIM quoted (AIM: MSG) provider of digital media and technology solutions is pleased to announce that it has signed a new agreement with commerical cleaning organisation Viper Cleaning Services Ltd ("VCS") and extended the agreement with STM Security Group (UK) Ltd ("STM") for the use of OnGuard.

On 14 October 2013, Milestone announced that STM had signed an agreement for a paid for pilot of OnGuard. This business management solution was specifically targeted at the security industry. It utilises the latest mobile and cloud technologies to support the administrative, operational and financial functions of the Manned Guarding sector.

STM has been using the software to provide audited process and resource management, and integrated business functions, improving their inter-departmental efficiencies and reporting. STM have now signed an agreement to extend their usage by a further 250 users and cover an additional 300 sites in the UK.

As part of this pilot, STM has been providing feedback to Milestone in order for the product to be further developed. This has lead to improved functionality and additional revenue opportunities in business sectors outside of the original security focus.

Milestone has now signed a 12-month agreement with VCS. The OnGuard product will be used by VCS to manage its mobile cleaning operatives at over 5,000 locations across the North East of England. The product will increase the efficiency of their operations whilst improving risk management, employee safety and information flow.
