                      Milestone Group PLC (the 'Company')

                   Notification of major interests in shares

The Company received notification on 26 November 2004 from Landfinance Limited,
a British Virgin Islands company, informing it that following a purchase of a
further 100,000 ordinary shares on 24 November 2004, they have a notifiable 
interest in 3,140,000 ordinary shares representing 14.2 per cent. of the total 
issued ordinary share capital of the Company. The current issued share capital
of the company is 22,105,095 shares.
