                   Notification of major interests in shares


The Company received notification on 15 September 2003 from INVESCO English and
International Trust plc, informing it that following a purchase of 270,000
ordinary shares on 12 September 2003, they have a notifiable interest in
1,120,000 ordinary shares representing 5.18 per cent. of the issued ordinary
share capital of the Company.

The shares are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited.
