Appointment


With effect from Monday April 2nd 2007, the board of Castings plc have appointed
David Gawthorpe as Chief Executive.


David is aged 44 and joined the company in 1984. He became Local Technical
Director at Brownhills in 1994 and is now Managing Director at the Brownhills
Foundry.


Brian Cooke will remain as Chairman with reduced everyday executive
responsibilities and a reduced contact from April 2nd 2007.
