The board note the recent drop in the Company's share price and confirm that
they are not aware of any new factors that would have had such an effect. The
board also confirms that the proposed deal to acquire 59% of the share capital
of Eragon Petroleum plc, which controls 3 separate oil and gas assets in
Kazakhstan, is on course subject to shareholder approval at the general meeting
on 29 February 2008.'
