                              TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we 
would like to notify the market of the following:

Carr's Milling Industries PLC capital consists of 8,233,579 ordinary shares with 
voting rights and Nil ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Carr's Milling Industries PLC is 
8,233,579.

The above figure (8,233,579) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Carr's Milling Industries
PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
