MIAMI (19 July 2006) - In accordance with Carnival Corporation & plc's (NYSE/
LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) previously announced share buy-back programme, Carnival
Corporation & plc announces that on 18 July 2006 Carnival Investments Limited,
Carnival Corporation's wholly-owned subsidiary, purchased 100,000 of ordinary
shares in Carnival plc at an average price of £20.7016 per share.  The highest
price paid was £20.82 per share and the lowest price paid was £20.60 per share.
