MIAMI (16 August 2007) -- -In accordance with Carnival Corporation & plc's (NYSE
/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) previously announced share buy-back programme, Carnival
Corporation & plc announces that on 15 August 2007 Carnival Investments Limited,
Carnival Corporation's wholly-owned subsidiary, purchased 200,000 of ordinary
shares in Carnival plc at an average price of £21.6229 per share.  The highest
price paid was £21.66 per share and the lowest price paid was £21.60 per share.

Services Authority Listing Rule 12.4.6R.
