Directorship Held in Another Publicly Quoted Company 

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, the Company announces that Philip Rogerson, Chairman of Carillion plc, and who is also non-executive Chairman of De La Rue plc, has been appointed Executive Chairman of De La Rue plc on a temporary basis until a new Chief Executive joins the Board of that company.  As previously announced, Philip Rogerson will retire from the Board of Carillion plc on 7 May 2014.
