Date for Carillion trading update

On 15 January 2007 Carillion plc will provide its usual update on trading ahead
of its preliminary results announcement on 7 March 2007.

The announcement will be followed by a conference call for analysts at 09.00 on
15 January, details of which will be made available nearer the date.
