The Cardiff Property Company PLC has purchased a total of 40,000 of its own 
ordinary shares. On:

            21 June 2002 - 5000 at 520p and 5000 at 517p and on 24 June 2002, 
            30,000 at 520p.

These shares will be cancelled.
