THE CARDIFF PROPERTY PLC - NOTICE OF EGM

The company has today posted to shareholders a circular requesting general
authority from shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 19
September 2002 for the company to purchase its own shares for cancellation. To
the extent that the company's existing authority is not utilised as at the date
of the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, such authority will be revoked
and subsequently replaced by the resolution to be proposed at the said
Extraordinary General Meeting.

A copy of the circular has been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will 
be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing 
Facility which is situated at The Financial Services Authority 25 The North 
Colonnade Canary Wharf London, E14 5HS.
