Cairn Energy PLC ('Cairn')
Notification of Shareholding - Companies Act 1985 ss.198-202 (as amended)
Cairn was today notified under Sections 198-202 of the Companies Act 1985 (as
amended) that Standard Life Group has sold 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 10 pence
each in the share capital of Cairn and as a result no longer has a notifiable
interest in Cairn's issued ordinary share capital.
