Interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility in the Company's Shares

Cairn announces that Phil Dolan, Director of Operations, purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 8/13 pence each in the Company at a price of £2.787 per share on 11 January 2012.

Following this announcement, Phil Dolan's beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
