Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the listing of, and to
the London Stock Exchange for the Admission of 1,224,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p
each fully paid, ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to the
Official List.

These shares will be issued pursuant to the exercise of options under the 
Company's 1996 Second Share Option Scheme.

Application has also been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing
of, and to the London Stock Exchange for the Admission of 2,000,000 Ordinary
Shares of 10p each fully paid, ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary
shares, to the Official List.

These shares will be issued pursuant to the terms of the Company's 1996 Second 
Share Option Scheme.
